When coming in for a consultation with Dr. Heil regarding gynecomastia treatment, he will discuss the various approaches and results you may anticipate from surgery. During your consultation, he will discuss the changes that you would like to make in your appearance. He will explain the different options available. He will discuss the procedure in detail, explain the risks and limitations, and explain the type of anesthesia that will be used during your case. Photographs of your chest will be taken for reference during and after your surgery.

Gynecomastia specialist Dr. Heil will determine the best technique to help you achieve your aesthetic goals. There are several techniques and each will be discussed with you in detail. During gynecomastia procedure, there is typically the removal of glandular fatty tissue as well as surrounding fat tissue through liposuction ("lipoplasty"). Laser Liposuction using the ProLipo™ by Sciton may also be used to remove excess fat and tighten the skin. In some cases, skin excision may be necessary to enhance your results. Your surgical outcome is a more masculine contour to your chest.
